Mayfest and Little Coincidences
Should you find yourself at @tulsamayfest this weekend I have a few pieces hanging in the invitational gallery at 101 E. Archer. My always beautiful cousin @artxcassandraelaine and her sweet guy, @_daniel_dossey_ came into town and attended the invite-only evening with Mike and I (and our little girl) (slides 1-3) and then on the drive home Facebook reminded me that on that exact day 15 years ago Cass was also with me at my photography exhibition opening at the Mondo Bizarro Gallery in Rome along with another friend and my now ex-husband. And should you find yourself at the @odditiesandcuriositiesexpo in Tulsa this weekend, Mike and I will have a (double-size!) booth filled to the brim with prints, cards and framed art for you to peruse. Some new pieces too! Please stop by and say hi.👋 (slide 8)
Last year, several people stopped at our O&C booth to tell me they had just seen my work hanging in the Mayfest Invitational gallery, loved it, and were pleasantly surprised to actually find me at the O&C Expo. To say I loved hearing that my art is being seen in multiple locations all at the same time is the understatement of the year. 🥰
Life is so strange sometimes, my dear friends, especially when you start living long enough to have such inexplicable serendipitous experiences.
Maybe aging really is magical in some strange way. ✨
