High Priestess
Hush. The ache before the answer. Hush. Do you feel it? Your ears are like satellites searching for submarines. Single engine planes circling Everest. Challenger Deep is calling. Go. Until you find the keeper of veils and the hollowed truth. Howling the gospel of molecules and wonder at the conquered moon. Reading the stars like scripture. Hush. Faith is the substance of things hoped for. Dearly beloved, there is no death. There is only energy. And metamorphosis. And goodbyes. And hellos again. All of it. Ancient, primal, unyielding. The breath between questions. As many as there are grains of sand. Falling backwards into the river of knowing; the known unknowns and the unknown knowns. Swirling together like chocolate and vanilla soft serve until they melt into a pool of each other’s homogeneous sticky sweetness. Dripping slowly onto a perfect floor. Language dissolves. Feeling remains. The stirring of the soul at the mystery. Floating at the threshold. Hush. The chambers of intuition are beckoning.
